29. Open Grooms (walk/trot)
This class is designated for those that help throughout the day.  For we all know that we couldn’t get it done without the support of our grooms.  This is the chance for the grooms to prove they do have some idea of what they are doing.  After all the ideas and pointers they give us, they must know something.  Right?  Time to show it off grooms.  Don’t worry, no proper attire is needed.  With all your raw talent you won’t need all that bling anyway.

30. Holiday Costume Class ($25 gift certificate)
Be creative!  Dress up your horse and yourself in the most festive or creative idea of what the holiday season means to you.  Show us your favorite thing about the holidays.  You can be mounted or lead your horse.  This will be a walk only class.  There will be multiple winners in many categories.

31. Ride A Stocking
This is a bareback class.  Very similar to “ride a buck”.  Each contestant will be given a “stocking”  to ride while riding their horse bareback.  All the while following the designated gait that is announced.   The last rider to not lose their stocking wins.

32. Egg & Spoon
This is a mounted class.  Each rider will be given an uncooked egg and a spoon.  They will have to ride around the arena to each designated command the announcer gives.  All the while balancing the egg on the spoon.  The last person with an unbroken egg will win.

33. Santa Says
A class that is similar to “Simon Says”.  Each contestant will ride their horse mounted with a saddle.  The key will be to follow what santa tells you to do when he tells you to do it!  You better listen carefully.  The last rider to successfully obey Santa wins.

34. Musical Sleigh
Each rider will ride their horse around the arena to festive holiday music.  When the music stops, each rider must dismount and get to an unoccupied sleigh.  If you don’t get to one, the elves will take you away.  The last rider with a sleigh wins.

35. Garland Race (paired/timed)
This class is a paired event and is timed.  Each pair of riders will mount their horse and ride together around three barrels.  All the while holding a garland between them.  Hope it doesn’t break.  The team with the fastest time wins.

36. Fill Santa’s Sack (timed)
Another timed event.  It appears that the West 20 elves have messed up again.  They have forgotten what gifts go in Santa’s sack.  Lead or ride your horse to each station and find the missing toys. Bring them back to Santa’s sack the fastest and win.

37. Meet Me Under The Mistletoe (timed)
This timed event is not for the bashful.  The holidays are all about spreading the love and cheer.  Lead or ride your horse to the other end of the arena.  “Kiss” (or hug) the lonely elf and lead or ride your horse back to the finish line.  The fastest person to share good cheer wins.

38. Xmas Poker (timed)
A timed event with a twist.  It appears Santa likes to play a little poker with his elves.  Help the elves beat Santa in poker.  Lead or ride your horse to each station where you will draw a card and then return to Santa.  There will be two winners.  The fastest time and the best poker hand.

39. Wish List Race (timed)
This event is also timed.  Those silly West 20 elves keep messing up.  Where O where did the toys go?  Help find each childs wishful items for Christmas.  Lead or ride your horse to each station, find the toys on each child's list and lead or ride back to the finish line.  The fastest one to find all the toys will win.
